Burial Information

One of the most heartbreaking moments in life is to bid farewell to someone we love and care for. As Muslims, we are taught to trust Allah (S.W.T’s.) will, and to pray for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased. If there has been a death in your family, please pray for their forgiveness.

To whatever extent it is possible, please plan in advance.  All you need to do is to decide which Cemetery to use and select which Masjid to use.

If you need help, assistance or advice, please call us. We do 3 or 4 burials a week. We are experienced and can help.

There are 5 basic components for a burial

1. Transportation of the deceased.

2. Ghusal, Kaffan, Salatul Mayyat

3. Purchase of Burial Plot, preferably in advance

4. Open/Close Charges for the Grave. Paid for at time of Burial.

5. Purchase and installation of a Marker Stone some time after Burial.

Items 1 and 2 are performed by the Masjid. You need Toronto Muslim Cemetery for the rest.
